Find the title and the current game state

Pause on a frame with the information panel or game title visible. Record the provider and full release name. A suffix can distinguish one version from another; a celebrity overlay does not identify the underlying game.

Next, determine whether the screen shows ordinary play, a bonus feature, a replay, or a demonstration. If the recording does not show this, mark it as unknown. A montage can skip the spins before the feature and the settings used to reach it.

Read the trigger beside the provider's rules

Count only the symbols that the rules identify as qualifying scatters. A wild or a special multiplier is not automatically interchangeable with one. Note any required positions and whether the displayed counter describes spins awarded, used, or remaining.

Separate a displayed win from a session result

Check whether a number is the last spin's award, a feature total, or an account balance. These are not equivalent. Also identify the total stake rather than assuming a small number beside one control represents the whole spin cost.

Here is a hypothetical accounting example: a session begins with 1,000 units and ends with 800, with no deposits or withdrawals. Its balance change is minus 200 units even if one animation displayed a 300-unit win. A selected winning moment leaves out the rest of that session. If money entered or left the account, account for those transfers separately before comparing balances.

Use a five-line viewing note

  • Exact title and provider: visible or unknown.
  • Ordinary play, feature, replay, or demo: confirmed or unclear.
  • Total stake and units: readable or missing.
  • Displayed amount: single result, feature total, or balance.
  • Recording coverage: complete session or selected moments.

This note tells you what the clip actually demonstrates. It cannot establish a winning hour, a repeatable pattern, or your chance of obtaining the same outcome. If essential details are missing, the useful conclusion is that the clip is insufficient for a comparison.
